Crashed-docked with Genesis Toroid, following the events logged by crew-woman Sheva Brumen, in her final logs:
Thursday 28th September: 09:07
Sheva Brumen reporting. Lorn Redwood has been in his quarters working on some sort of prototype for interstellar travel. I don't fully understand the science behind it, but he seems excited. Probably harmless and I know I’m being paranoid, but I’d rather it didn’t happen on the Dawkins, so I’m logging my official objections.
Thursday 28th September: 12:53
Something's gone terribly wrong. There was a loud noise from Lorn's quarters. The ship's sensors are going haywire. I can't get hold of anyone.
Thursday 28th September: 14:27
The hull near the crew quarters has ruptured. I don't know how anyone could've survived that. Emergency systems have sealed off the area, but I can't find the rest of the crew.
Thursday 28th September: 16:11
The polar bears... they're loose. I don't know how it happened, but they're rampaging through the ship. I've heard screams. I can't find anyone alive.
Thursday 28th September: 19:03
I've barricaded myself in the forward bay. I've seen… things. Crew members, but not as we know them. They're like zombies, following some dark figure. I think it's Lorn, but he's different, twisted.
Thursday 28th September: 22:04
I’ve managed to trap Luca Kinall in here, in the flight terminal. I know he’s gone, but I can’t bring myself to… I can’t.
Thursday 28th September: 22:37
I can't stay here, either. I need to seal off the corridors leading to the cargo bay and crew quarters. It's the only way to contain whatever this is.
Friday 29th September: 02:14
I've managed to seal one of the corridors with explosives and an electrified door. It should keep them at bay, at least for a while. I'm so tired.
Friday 29th September: 05:49
I'm going to flood the other corridor with fluoroantimonic acid. It's a last resort, but I have no other options. It should dissolve any organic matter almost instantly. If anyone finds this, know that I did everything I could to stop this nightmare.
